Christmas peppermint bark

12 ounces dark chocolate chips
12 ounces white chocolate chips
8 peppermint candycanes
place candycanes in food processor until crushed into small pieces. set aside. melt dark chocolate chips on stove and pour on cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. place in refrigerator to harden. then melt the white chocolate chips and add most of the crushed candycanes to the melted mixture and stir in. remove the cookie sheet from refrigerator and pour the white chocolate mixture. sprinkl the remaining candycanes on top of the mixture and place back in the refrigerator to set. once set, use mallet (or hands) to break bark into bite size pieces.
