2 cups old-fashion rolled oats

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds

2 tbsp sesame seeds

2 tbsp poppy seeds

3/4 cup shredded coconut

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/8 tsp salt

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup honey

1 cup dried fruit (i used cranberries but any fruit can be used!)

preheat oven to 325.  line baking sheet with foil.  combine oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in large bowl land mix together.  in another small bowl, mix oil and honey.  pour mixture over oats mixture and stir well.  pour mixture on lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes.  when cooling, stir around ever 10 minutes or so loosen up the granola.

    • aw, yes please pin it! Pinterest is where my inspiration came from for this one. I eat it for breakfast with skim milk and it is the prefect start to the day! Let me know how it turns out!

    Have started to make this for breakfast. It keeps you so full and i like that you can control the sugar (which I am working on doing). I have halved the oil and honey and it still turns out great.
