nutella symphony brownies

nutella symphony brownies

creation by manda and me

manda and i created this recipe the other night with a combination of recipes that we both grew up with.  we collaborated and came up with these! they were sinful..

3 hersheys symphony bars

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1/2 cup butter

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1/2 cup Nutella

2 tsp vanilla

1 cup flour

pre-heat oven 325 degrees.  melt chocolate in microwave and set aside to cool.  thoroughly cream butter and sugar until mixed and then add eggs and nutella and beat well.  blend in melted chocolate, vanilla, and flour.  in a butter baking dish, pour in half of brownie mixture.  take symphony bars and break into individual squares and place on top of mixture in baking dish so the bars completely cover the mixture.  pour the rest of the brownie mixture on top and bake for 40/45 minutes (use toothpick test).  enjoy decadent, gooey, sinful brownies!

  1. They look and sound great. I’m making brownies tomorrow as the grand children are coming over on Sunday. I say they’re for the grandchildren, but they’ll be lucky if there any left. We don’t have Hershey bars in France, but Nutella rules – it’s everywhere:)
