grilled corn and potato salad

kevin’s recipe for the corn and dad’s recipe for the potato salad

IMG_2441grilled corn:

4 ears of corn

1/4 cup butter

2 tbsp bobby’s butt rub

salt and pepper to taste

melt butter in microwave and use a basting

brush to cover the corn with the butter.

then sprinkle the butt rub and salt and

pepper all over the corn.  wrap corn tightly

in foil and cook corn on grill on low heat

for 45 minutes.


potato salad:

1 pounds red potatoes

1/4 cup mayo

1/4 cup spicy mustard

2 pickles chopped

2 tbsp pimentos

1 tbsp celery seed

1 tbsp onion powder

salt and pepper

boil until soft (about 45 minutes).    after cooked,

let them cool and then peel them and cut into

4ths.  place in bowl along with the rest of the

ingredients.  once mixed throughly, place in refrigerator for an hour to get cold.  the perfect side

dish for a warm spring night!
