garlic parmesan baked oysters

dad’s recipe


1 dozen fresh oysters (we got whole oysters and shucked them ourselves because we were at the beach but oysters already on the half shell are perfectly fine!)

1/2 stick of soften butter

1 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tbsp garlic

2 tbsp parsley

dash of salt and pepper

preheat oven to 350 degrees.  shuck oysters to create oysters on the half shell.  cut softened butter into tiny cubes and place in bowl.  to the bowl add parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.  stir until combined.  with a small spoon, scoop mixture on to each half shell oyster.  bake for about 10 minutes and enjoy!



  1. I never had parmesan oysters. But on my wish list. You should be rewarded for recipes like this.

    These are delicious. Depending on the size of the oysters you may need to cook them a little longer.
