parmesan crusted tilapia

my own recipe

4 tilapia filets

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 cup italian bread crumbs

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp butter

1 avocado, diced

salt and pepper

heat skillet to medium heat and melt butter.  in a bowl, add all remaining ingredients except the fish and mix until combined.  coat each filet with the bread crumb parmesan mixture and place in skillet.  i wanted a very light crust so i did not dip the fish in flour or eggs before hand but if you wanted a heavier coat, dip the fish in flour, eggs, then bread crumb parmesan mixture. cook for about 5 minutes on each side.  i served with quinoa mix and balsamic asparagus with diced avocado on top!
