crockpot chicken noodle soup

crock pot chicken noodle soup

my own recipe

3 boneless chicken breasts

3 large carrots, cut in rounds

3 stalks celery, roughly cut

1 yellow onion, roughly cut

1 cup white button mushroom, sliced

3 cups chicken stock

5 cups water

2 tsp dried thyme

2 tsp dried parsley

2 tsp dried rosemary

salt and pepper

2 cups egg noodles

set crock pot on high and place chicken breasts at the bottom of the pot.  add carrots, celery, onion, mushrooms, and spices.  stir until combined then add chicken stock and water.  let cook on high heat for 5 to 6 hours.  remove chicken and shred with two forks (falls apart very easily)!  add noodles and shredded chicken to crock pot and let cook for about 10 minutes.  serve with fresh parsley on top! cozy and comfy dinner for the first night of fall!
