avocado feta dip

inspired by my dear friend brooke kahn’s recipe

Processed with Rookie Cam

4 oz package of feta cheese
3 ripe avocados
2 teaspoons basil, chopped
2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
2 garlic cloves
1 small shallot, diced
1 jalapeno, de-seeded and chopped
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

 

in a food processor, whip together feta and avocado. add in the rest of the ingredients and pulse until smooth.

  2. Yum yum! I can’t get feta in Japan :( Isn’t that so sad? ahhh. Also no beetroots, boysenberries or apricots!! Strange country! hehe
